I wanted to create a small zodiac flash series, and naturally, it made sense to start with the Year of the Rat. This design lightly touches on themes of ancestry, birth years, and the zodiac, while keeping a playful and light-hearted feel. Projects like this are a refreshing change of pace—small, fun pieces that let me experiment with character and symbolism outside of larger, more complex tattoos.
